Looking for new classes and skills for the New Year?
Mew Mew's has lots of classes scheduled!

A La Carte classes are like a one-room school house for knitting and crocheting. Classes are small (5-6 folks per class). You'll find people working on various projects here like finishing sweaters, felted clogs, magic loop socks or socks on d.p.s., hats, lace, cables, or getting help interpreting patterns. Also, you can learn to knit or crochet as a beginner if the day/time of this class suits you better.
You'll pick up lots of hints that you might never have thought to ask. We'll be picking up stitches, kitchener stitching, embroidering on knitting fabric, mattress stitching seams, fixing mistakes... you never know what will show up.

A La Carte Classes:
Wednesdays, Jan 25, Feb 1, 8 - 6 - 8 pm - $48

Thursdays, Jan 26, Feb 2, 9 - 10 am - 12 noon - $48

More and more patterns are popping up for the Tunsian Crochet. We have found a Tunisian crochet expert in Roberta. She will tell you about the history and show you various stitches in Tunisian crochet as well as the basics. This is a two week class.

Dog Sweater Class
Additional session added due to popularity of first class. Taught by Colette. Please see samples of Doggie Sweaters in shop front window!
Mondays, Feb 6, 13, 20 - 6 - 8 pm - $48

Drop in knitting/crochet happens every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, 1-5. Bring your project and chit-chat with others. Please, this is not meant to be a free class. Please register for a class if you wish instruction. Of course, creative exchange of ideas and suggestions and encouragement runs rampant at these get-togethers.

Join us to knit/crochet for Clinica Campesina every second Tuesday of the month. Next meeting is Tuesday, Jan 10th and Feb 14th, 10-12. We have yarn and patterns for free, for donated projects, or bring your own. Please bring your own needles and/or hooks. Some help and instruction can be given if time allows.

Friday Night Knit Club happens the last Friday of the month, 6-8. A get-together for those who can't make the day get-togethers. Next meeting: Friday, Jan 27th, 6-8. Bring show and tell, and any snacks you'd care to share. Or pick up something at the coffee shop two doors down.

Is there a child in your life who would like to learn to knit? Cassidy is a very talented designer, knitter and teacher. Her Saturday morning kids knitting classes have become very popular here at Mew Mew's. Kids ages 8 and up might knit a penguin, jellyfish, elephant, or ??? She's open to suggestions.
