More Cotton Twirl from Crystal Palace and more Tatamy Tweed from Kraemer Mills of Nazareth, Pennsylvania. This is a cotton/acrylic wrst. wt. All three of the above would be great for summer knitting.
Have you tried the Magic Ball from Be Sweet yarns yet? Nadine Curtis created Be Sweet in 2003 while living in Cape Town, South Africa. Be Sweet works with several job creation programs in developing countries who give artisans the confidence and the means to support themselves and their families in an otherwise economically depressed region. Members of the Xhosa Tribe hand spin the mohair for this yarn. New: Local dyer Sky High Fibers' BFL/silk hand dyed lace wt. in pastels, natural and cloud brights.
Ongoing events at Mew Mew's include: Charity knits/crochets for Clinica Campesina and others meets the second Tuesday of every month. Next meeting is Tuesday, May 14th, 10 - 12. Bring your own needles or hooks. Patterns and yarn provided, or bring your own. We knit baby and child size hats/sweaters/blankets etc. Drop in and knit or crochet any Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, 1 - 4 Upcoming classes include: A La Carte (this class includes all different levels from beginner to experienced.) Learn to knit or crochet, or progress in your skills at any level. You choose your own project or let us help you choose. Freeform knitting/crochet combine stitches and use up that stash! Wine Bottle Knits - Make a whimiscal bottle cover for that special event. Palm trees, bride and groom, Dr. Who, Dracula????? Many possibilities!
