All Classes are limited to 5 students only. Don't be disappointed! Your spot is reserved for you when you call or come in and pay for the class. All supplies needed for class are 10% off for all registered students. Most classes require a purchased pattern. Please ask what supplies are needed when registering for the class. If you must miss a session, you can arrange to come in for a make-up session anytime mutually convenient. If you have registered for a class at Mew Mew's and haven't finished your class project, you are welcome to come in to the shop anytime for free support and help! Please turn off cellphones in class.

Knitting A la Carte

Thursdays (10 - 12 am) - April 1, 8, 15 - $48

Choose your project and get expert help in a laid-back atmosphere. We usually share refreshments during this class. Sweaters, socks, gloves, shawls, you choose!

Beginning/Continuing Knitting

Fridays (6 - 8 pm) - Feb 26, March 5, 12

Learn the basics! Knit, Purl, Garter stitch, Stockinette Stitch, Increases and Decreases, basic pattern reading, binding off, picking up a dropped stitch, etc. Make a scarf, hat, or washcloth. This class can also be a refresher, or for the student who wishes to continue knitting a beginner project.

Beginning/Continuing Crochet

Learn basic crochet techniques. Practice stitches, or start a scarf, washcloth, or basic granny square.

Socks Any Way You Like 'Em

Top Down Sweater

Thursdays (10 - 12am) - Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4

A seamless sweater worked from the neck down. This is the ideal first sweater to knit. Choose from several patterns, cardigan, pullover, childrens size to adult. Lots of attention to gauge and reading the pattern.

Baby Sweater

Thursdays (6 - 8 pm) - April 8, 15, 22, 29

Work on a small size sweater and focus on finishing/sewing techniques. Learn some special tricks: k1, p1 cast on, short row shoulders, one-row buttonholes, invisible seaming.
Choose your own pattern with suggestions given by teacher.

Origami Wrap

Fridays (6 - 8 pm) - May 7, 14, 21, skip 28th (knit/crochet club night), June 4, 11, 18

Come in and see sample! Simple knit or crochet rectangles and then put together in an elegant and unique shape. Stop in and choose your color now in Frog Tree alpaca yarn.
